For the second year in a row, Hudson Pacific Properties has been named a U.S. office leader in sustainability by GRESB. The company earned the “Green Star” designation and the highest five-star rating for exceptional environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance.
“We are proud to receive this recognition from GRESB for the second straight year,” said Natalie Teear, VP of Sustainability and Social Impact. “With the launch of Hudson Pacific’s Better Blueprint ESG platform earlier this year, we reaffirmed our commitment to leadership in sustainability, most recently by achieving carbon neutrality across all of our operations. We look forward to sharing even more progress as we work to reduce our embodied carbon and achieve net-zero waste.”
Each year, GRESB assesses and benchmarks the ESG performance of real estate assets worldwide and monitors the sector’s progress towards global sustainability goals. Widely recognized as the standard for measuring sustainability performance, GRESB provides validated ESG data to the capital markets. The 2020 real estate benchmark covers more than 1,200 property companies, real estate investment trusts (REITs), funds and developers.
